The Basque company Siemens Gamesa (SGRE) will supply the most powerful wind turbines developed to date by said company. The unit power of each turbine is 14MW. These wind turbines have been requested by Iberdrola for the large East Anglia Hub marine park, located in United Kingdom waters.
In addition to the manufacture and supply of the wind turbines, Siemens Gamesa will be responsible for their installation and commissioning of the group of installed turbines.
Likewise, Siemens Gamesa is the selected supplier for the supply of wind turbines for the Iberdrola project in Asturias, which will increase the current installed power by another 40 MW. (02-23-2021)
